Scanner Info

If you have noticed we have been very quiet on your scanner the last week it is because we have went into test mode on Peoria Counties new P25 radio system.... The radio system is similar to a trunking system and eventually once we have completed the test phase all of the Peoria County agencies (police, fire, ambulance, public works) will be operating on it. At this time, we can not recommend which kind or brand of scanner will work the best or at all as we are still testing the system ourselves. Stay tuned for updates as we move forward.
